in 1999 by Andrea Troolin; alongside industry veteran Victoria Roe they oversee the careers of
established musical artists in a broad range of genres including Andrew Bird, Alan Sparhawk
(Low), My Brightest Diamond, Shara Nova, John Splithoff, Tift Merritt, SUSS and Evann
McIntosh.

Job Overview:
Ekonomisk Mgmt. is seeking a Full-Time Day to Day Manager who thinks creatively and
proactively to manage a wide range of organizational, communication, and personnel
responsibilities.

As Day-to-Day Manager, you will be expected to coordinate, plan, execute, and liaise on behalf
of clients as well as their managers, while assisting in the daily operations of an active and fast-
paced office.

Ideal candidates are self-starting problem solvers who possess a strong passion for music,
artists, and the greater business of music.

This position will begin with a 2-month trial period on contract to determine fit for both the
company and applicant.

Expected Breakdown of Time & Focus:

  • 30% Client Support (booking travel, communicating with venues, contractors)

  • 30% Social Media/Marketing/Website Updates (updating social media accounts,
    executing marketing plans)

  • 30% Admin Support (calendar management, maintaining database)

  • 10% Other

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as day-to-day point of contact for clients; establishing relationships and
    communicating effectively on their behalf to the team & outside world

  • Assisting in the marketing efforts behind major album releases and national/international
    tours; running point on press & online campaigns

  • Managing internal office and client calendars, travel documents, touring/promo
    itineraries and show production as needed

  • Keeping an organized and well archived database of client promo, upcoming travel,
    social media log-ins, and general assets/media following established internal processes
    for organization and storage/retrieval

  • Determining and acting upon artist and company needs with little guidance

  • Administering and maintaining artist and company website and socials; implementing
    new social strategy

  • Managing song and setlist registrations and publishing

  • Assisting with and often writing and designing external publications including press
    releases, newsletters, tour announcements and other documents

  • Managing webstore maintenance and fulfillment where necessary

  • Responding to and managing inbound requests

What you’ll need to be successful at Ekonomisk:

  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail

  • Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time with accuracy and timeliness

  • Love of artists and turning intangible ideas into tangible outcomes

  • Able to identify problems, prioritize, and solve them in a timely manner

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Photoshop, Canva or other photo
    manipulation/design software, Dropbox/Google Drive, basic web building and design

  • Motivated to working non-traditional hours when required

  • Music industry experience preferred
